Unfortunately, someone will test the lines and we'll have to tweak the rules to keep the house a nice place to live.

I really liked TomTom a lot, but just tried out iGuidance. I see it is the same as the old Deluo Routis software, which was fantastic. It solves a few annoyances I had with TomTom. Here are things it does better:

Startup--it takes a minute or two for TomTom to load. This is really annoying ...

With the multitasking abilities of the PPC 6700, I wanted to make full use of it while in the car. I have had many “gadget” setups in my Subaru WRX wagon. XMRadio, laptop, GPS, touch screen LCD, carputer. All the various setups took a lot of piecing together, tweaking and frankly usually looked ugly ...

While the Pocket PC user interface is very fast and intuitive, especially in the 2003 version, I've always wanted a better way to use my PPC while driving, or just a simpler way to get to things. The first solution for this need was Fonix's VoiceDial software, which allows you to dial anyone in your ...

I will admit it right at the beginning of this article. I really didn't think I'd ever be willing to put any stick-on accessories on my pdaPhone. After all, a pdaPhone cost quite a few bucks, and most of them look pretty cool the way they come. I recently received an email from Flexible Innovations, ...

I have been using the T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition (XDA) for the last nine months and just recently switched to the Hitachi G1000 (G1000). Why did I switch? I was pretty happy with the XDA and it had served me well, solidifying my position on being a "single device" guy. I also ...

I skipped feeding my golden retriever, Cody, who sensed the excitement on my face and hopped in the car with me.
