    4S?

pretty quiet on here, especially considering that the 4S was announced this week. I'm dropping AT&T for Verizon and the 4S. Anyone else swapping/upgrading?

I haven't decided what I am going to do. For me, the most compelling "feature" of the 4S is that it is available in a 64GB model. However, I don't know whether I can actually justifying signing a new mobile contract and shelling out $400 just to get 64GB. The other factors in play are: (a) I've never been thrilled with AT&T and (b) my parents, who are on my family share plan, are moving soon and don't think they will have AT&T coverage in their new house. Consequently, I'm thinking of waiting a few months, until closer to my parents' move, to decide whether to bail on AT&T. If I do that, though, I'll end up paying two ETFs (one for my iPhone 4 and one for my mom's) so that's one factor in maintaining the status quo, at least until next summer.

I pre-ordered yesterday for delivery on the 22nd. I'm glad to drop AT&T. Sprint's pricing is really attractive, but I'm concerned about their coverage and whether their network can handle the traffic, so I'm a Verizon customer again.

I always thought that I would jump back to Verizon once they had the iPhone available but by the time they did AT&T had decent 3G coverage in my area. Still not sure what I'm going to do on the 4S, I'd like to go for 64GB and have Siri to play with. Always feel the urge to go for latest Apple technology regardless.

I may check out Sprint though concerned about the coverage I'm interested in comparing plan pricing, but probably the biggest thing I'd miss now since having it is the ability to have voice and data concurrently with AT&T service.

Let us know what you think of the 4S when you get it.

Sprint will not have any problem with the increased traffic. The are not in all areas so for you rural folk i would check their coverage map.

they also have airavna's which are the femtocell units they will give to you for free should you live in a fringe area. this would give you 3G as well as full voice coverage. Sprint is unlimited which kills all the others.

Sprint is worth it for you ATT/VZW users.
