5-Rivers NYS Environmental Center (56k Warning)

Well with the terrible weather we have been having I decided to take a trip down to 5-Rivers in hopes of a few minutes of no rain... I hope everyone enjoys the pictures!!!

We had run into a family of geese the last weekend up there... and it was good to see that everyone is surviving and growing... =) Gotta love the goslings...

    I love #4.

I almost love #9, but the other bird is distracting.

Your water fowl are getting very refined... good work. Cool to see the babies. I assume these were with the 500 f/4?

Yeah these were all 500... 5-Rivers is a great place if you want to get some up close and personal waterfowl... I am sure that I look pretty funny being 20ft away and shooting with that big 'ole lens though...

Hey... don't knock it. I had the 400 2.8 on at The Crossings one day shooting gulls... I wasn't very far from them, but I was able to get some nice isolation of the birds that way.
