    Macro...

    A little macro from a contest submission of mine... this was actually taken with my P&S (Canon Pro-1)...

    Nice. The colors are great. I'm not a big fan of that framing. Did you win?

    I am actually one of the judges... so no no winning for me...LOL We still always submit a few though... the framing was more or less just playing around with PSP8 looking at some of the options on there...thanks for the compliment!

    I agree... great colors, but it would be better if those other flowers in the background weren't there... you know, just the solo flower. I think that I've seen folks use clips and such to move the other flowers out of the way when doing macro, to isolate one. What lens are you using here?

    Mike I was actually using my Canon Pro-1... it was for the NEM contest so I wanted people to know that you could use a point and shoot and still make a decent pic...some of the contests have been slim pickings because people havent been too motivated to do the assignments...
