As a very light user, both phone and data, I've been happy with my "dated" TP2 on AT&T GoPhone plan. $15 a month for phone, and $5 for 10MB data, is enough.

Now AT&T will no longer allow smartphones on pay-as-you-go and they are trying to get me to pay $25 for phone and another $5 for data.

Any alternatives or work-arounds?????
