    Power Problem

My G while running sometimes just turns off. I wont be able to hit power to turn it on or even do a soft reset. In order for me to get it back on a have to connect it to the home charger and hit power on button. Does anyone know what i can do to stop this?

Also after charging my battery all day i will check how much the battery meter says and it is stuck on 38% Has this happened to anyone else.

no telling what is going in inside your G drmar. i guess this has JUST started to happen and its not been going on since you had it? if so, you may need to do yet another hard reset. then WITHOUT syncing up anything to the phone, just use it for a bit and se if it still does the same thing... if it does, your pone is defective and you need to take it to sprint.

if it doesnt, its probably some setting from a program or some left over crap in your registry you need to clean up....

I have had the G for about 1year and it was new when I bought it. It happened one time a long time ago, about six months but i thought nothing of it. Now its happening more. It does not happen all the time though. I have never done a Hard reset with my G. Will it erase aftermarket applications? Thanks for the help.

Have you tried swapping in another battery to see if it is at fault?

mine just did that for the first time tonight. took the phone of the charger after it had been sitting there for 2 days, and 3 hours later i go to turn it on and it had reset itself. plugged it into the charger and it said the backup battery was discharged, but the main battery had 38% in it. I'll keep an eye on it for a bit and report what happens.

try and use the charger direct into the phone, bypassing the cradle... see if it happens again.. it could have been a quirk or a glitch... may not be anything to wory about... just try it different ways and note the results....
