    Question TP2-WinMo 6.5

    My question relates to the new Sprint/HTC 6.5 upgrade. When I use the virtual keyboard with a stylus or finger, I get a vibration as a form of feedback. In the earlier TP, I could turn it on or off. In the new version, I cannot find how to turn it off. According to sprint, there is no way to do so. Wonder if there is a registry setting that will allow it. Help!!

    Thanks for your reply---- In 6.5 there is no personalization tab. Guess I will have to leave it be.

    start - settings - all settings (if using tflo) - personal folder - input - options button - set "vibrate when keys are pressed" to no

    Thanks for your input, BUT the choice that you mentioned in your reply does not exist on the new release of WinMo 6.5 on either HTC or Sprints site.
    Only options that mine has are: Symbol Lock, Typing Sound, Spell Correction, Word Completion (XT9) and Word Completion (ABC). A bit confusing- what version of WinMo are you using? I was able to turn it off in 6.1. Perhaps Verizon made that change, but I am on Sprint

    Thanks

    Marctronixx, could you please post the link to your original post? I'm having trouble finding it.

    I can verify that this setting as described above doesn't seem exist in the Sprint 6.5 build.

    Marctronixx, that path:

    setting---->personalize---->vibration

    doesn't exist, at least on my Sprint build.

    Thanks! I was looking for it in the standard WM settings and didn't see it at the top of the Sense settings (since I use SPB Mobile Shell instead).
