    speaker vibration

I have been with my 7135 for a little over a week now, so far I am very happy with the form factor, functionality and out of the box software.

I am using it on Verizon, qnc network and it is handling pop mail and limited web surfing perfectly. I really like the eis browser and eudora mail programs.

PROBLEM - I am experiencing phone speaker vibration that is annoying. While on a call there is a vibration/buzz that sounds like a hardware issue. I am in San Diego, have friends at Kyocera and they will take the phone in for a check up later this week. I hope this is an isolated incident, as this phone rocks and I would hate to see a hardware failure such as this cause problems for Kyocera.

    Anyone else exeriencing speaker issues?

I remember a similar problem with the 6035 when the backlighing was turned on. You may try turning the backlighting off to see if the buzz goes away.

I haven't had an problems though.

haven't dropped it....yet. I used to use a 2035, was a rock, we'll see how this fancy smartphone thing holds up.

I am having a great time with the sms (messages) app, very effective with palm os.

phone will be going into kyocera at the end of this week for a once over, I'll keep ya'll posted

    pdageek,

I have had that same buzzing backlighting problem since the 6035 was launched March, 2001. We are in a tiny minority, because most models sold after that first month had corrected hardware. Because of that I've always kept my backlight off.
