Thnks jazmaan, I like muddy better actually.

Murgatroyd, on the bottom of this page there is a Forum Jump and a drop down list. Click on the drop down list and go to 7135 Files section.

Thanks for the Muddy...I use it for family members who are call long distance, but I found a little problem. When I receive a call from someone that is calling long distance and has been setup in my address book as “personal” (the muddy mp3), the song starts with the mp3 I setup for all calls that are “unfiled” (my daughter voice saying "Daddy answer the telephone"). It last for about 2 seconds and then the muddy mp3 kicks in. It seems it takes the phone a few seconds to realize that the incoming call is classed as a long distance (personal assigned w/ muddy mp3) and not the ringer "Daddy answer the telephone" for “unfiled” set up for all other calls.

    Has anyone experienced this?
Everything’s easy for those who don't know how to do it.

I used MP3 Ringer Maker to make some alert sounds, flip sounds, etc.

I found the menus on the PDA for changing flip sounds. But where is the menu to install different alert sounds? Also MP3 Ringer Maker gives you several other options - tone, system, wild, other. What do you do with these?

Here is what is in the MP3 Maker Reference Guide located at http://www.kyocera-wireless.com/7100_phone/7135/PDF/MP3.Maker.pdf :

    • Ringer - These sounds will be located in the ringer selection menus in the Incoming Calls
    preferences under Prefs Phone
    • Alarm - These will be located in the DateBook Preferences
    • Flip - These will be located in the Flip Settings prefs under Prefs Phone
    • Wild - These sounds will be located in all of the areas mentioned above. Use this setting for your
favorite sounds so you can choose them from anywhere.

Not a very detailed reference guide, but I hope this helps.

Thanks. I'll just use "Wild" for everything from now on.

I like the built-in "Splat" sound for closing the flip, but I also have a gross cartoon "Slurp" that I'm using now.

Jazmaan, I love the Secret Agent Man ringer. It brings back memories of a great song and a great show. It also dates me. Thanks!

    Ringer & Colorado release date

I just have to check out the ringers, I will probably love Secret Agent Man as well. By the way, has anyone heard when Verizon will be releasing the Kyocera 7135 in Colorado?

Colorado will probably get the phone the same time as everywhere else. I'm glad I didn't wait though. I've enjoyed this phone for 6 weeks now.

I'll have to get into these ringers. Only one problem: I have to silence/vibrate my phone most of the time. I wish there was a way to schedule when the phone is silenced. For example, only have the sounds on evenings, nights, and weekends (except for Sundays 10-2).

I was using the Psycho ringer today. I got some very startled looks when it went off in a restaraunt! Funny how a little riff like that can work its way into the mass sub-consciousness!

I just purchased the 7135 Monday and made some ringers tonight. I had no problem making them or getting them onto my phone. But I'm having the same problem mentioned here about using the classifications. The phone rings with the default ringer type and then switches over to the ringer I've choosen for the category. I've seen other people mention this problem, but I haven't seen a solution. Does anyone know if this can be fixed? I want to have different ringers, but this is annoying.
