QNC no longer works after signing up for unlimited Express Network...?

    Folks,

Since I signed up for unlimited Express Network, I can no longer authenticate using #777, u: qnc, pw: qnc using either the PDA settings or a PC -- I get an authentication failure.

As a result, WAP no longer works...

    Anyone else having this problem..?

    glenn--try the following

u: **********@vzw3g.com (* equal your areacode and phone number)
pw: qnc or vzw (when you signed up they should have given you a u and pw)

i'd also check the script. If you had modified the top line from a 3 to a 2 you may need to change it back.

    pdageek,

I think I might have been unclear. Express Network is working great (and since it's it's unlimited, I'm good).

However, the old 14.4 qnc connection no longer works and neither does WAP. They both get authentication failures.

Here's a question -- the scripts for the 1X High Speed Data and QNC are almost the same. What determines if you are using Express Network minutes, or voice minutes via 14.4 QNC? I had assumed it was the user name and login, but maybe it's the script or both...

    Does anyone know?

Welcome to what was my WAP nightmare. Once you have 1x on your account, you need to change the first line of the qnc script. Replace the 3 with a 2. That will get qnc and WAP back.

You may have to make a qnc connection before you get WAP back.
