    7135 verses 6035

I sold this person a 6035 and this is what he had to say about the 7135 I am not knocking it I just wanted to share.
    We
bought the new one (7135? the color one) but it sucks hard... hehe. Time to downgrade. Yeah, the 7135 really sucks. First of all, the battery life on the 6035 is (still) the industry leader. We use these phones all day long, very little rest time for it, and the battery just lasts and lasts. The 7135 dies somewhere in the late afternoon. The flip is annoying as hell and impossible to hold to your ear with your shoulder (the 6035 is just thick enough.) You can't dial without opening it, which is annoying, and you
can't really dial by feel, as you can with the nice raised rubber buttons on the 6135.

The 7135 is nice and colorful, and it's quite a bit faster than the 6035
(much better processor), but as a phone it just isn't anywhere near as
    awesome as the 6035.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

    Chevy Nova

...and this is why the Chevy Nova has been voted Motortrends Car of the Year for 2003.

Available now in exploding and non-exploding versions.

Can we say I went through 5 (FIVE) 6035s in less than 18 months. Yes its a workhorse, and a pioneer. But I don't think that pioneers can handle life on the bleeding edge.

    IMHO :BigKnife:

I was under the impression the 7135 had the same processor as the 6035?

By the way, I disagree with almost everything mentioned in this rant. Except for the short battery life, which I can live with and I too wish the 7135 had the 6035's buttons. But I LOVE the clamshell design.

I think that the 7135 is going to be a most amazing phone whenever it actually hits the market, but the 6035 should just be recognized for the way it changed how we all used cell phones. That rant in particular could be someone who just feels that the 6035 is good enough for them and doesn't need anymore. As much as I want a 7135 I know it just ain't gonna happen, so I will cherish all that I can do on my 6035 that other phones can't..... just my $.02
