If Verizon can use AGPS to know where we are and someday let Starbucks send me a message to come inside and get a mocha, why can't they send us a signal of some sort to tell us where we are. Then someone could design software to take that signal or broadcast, or txt message and use it to tie into GPS software.

If Verizon's system knows where i am, then they should be able to tell me where i am. Verizon could make yet another dollar a month off of me JUST BE TELLING ME WHERE I AM. That's so stupid they should jump at it. If all of the new phones are going to have this AGPS stuff, someone is going to figure out how to use it to make some serious $$. Who's it going to be?

Sounds like a nice marketing tool to get people to switch carriers.
