    No CD with my phone...

    Hi guys,

I enjoy reading all the stuff about this great phone
I bought mine from Ebay (new) and all I got was a bootlegged CD with the Palm program and some drivers. But no Photo Suite and no mobile mail etc. Is there a download place where I can get these programs? I am on a trial version of Splash Photo- works great, but I can't justify another $40 bucks for this.

I love this phone, but it is TAKING OVER MY LIFE !!
During the last week, all I did was play with it....

Most of the software that comes on the CD is available for download at the Kyocera web site.

As will this forum. Perhaps we at SPS should offer a 12 step program for addicted 7135 owners.

I don't seem to be able to find it...

Well guys, thanks for the reply.

I searched for the software at Kyocera web site, but don't seem to be able to find the Photo Suite or Mobile Mail. Maybe I am blind, but this as all I see.

Palm Desktop for Kyocera 7135 - For Windows
Palm Desktop for Kyocera 7135 - For Macintosh (MacOS 9 and later)
    Modem Driver - For Windows
    Keyboard Drivers
MP3 Desktop - For Windows (not compatible with QCP 6035)
MP3 Ringer Maker software - For Windows (not compatible with QCP 6035)
    Eudora Internet Suite
    VEO Software Driver

The 12 steps sound like a great idea- put me down

You're correct.... Mobile Mail is too big to attach here also (1.7MB). Give me a couple of days to put it on a server for you to download.

    That would be super !

Now, if I could only have someone to help me to find the Photo Suite, I would be a real happy camper

I assume you've tried to install the PhotoSuite software from the CD you have and it doesn't work? From the main menu of the CD, you select "Additional Applications" and then select "Media Player Desktop". That is the choice that installed PhotoSuite for mine.

    Not really...

This what I have on the bootlegged CD. I don't think it is complete and the seller is a pain in the neck to deal with trying to extract the rest of the software.

    7135 Modem Drivers.zip
    7135 Pam Desktop
    EIS 2.1,
    KPDU Update,
    Manual in PDF
Am I missing something here? I doint see any Photo Suite or Mobile Mail

    Thanks for your effort Michael.

I got this message (part) from Kyocera:

<<You can purchase a replacement CD from our Kyocera Wireless Accessory Store with the User's Guide.

[NOTE:] The CD is not the same as you would receive from your wireless carrier. It has the basic applications provided by Kyocera. To acquire the additional applications, please contact your wireless provider.>>

I can get the basics from the web site, exept for the 2 apps I want Do you think Verizon will volunteer ?

The easiest way to tackle this is to run the .exe you want to install, i.e. mobilemail.exe. I haven't had the time to download everything and keep the file structure. Maybe tonight.

Wouldn't it be easier to make an ISO and post it on your site. Then he would really have the CD.

    Still missing one file...

    Larry,

I have most of the apps down, except for the Media Player.
When trying to run the setup.exe from the download location, I get this message:
Setup is unable to find installation languages in the ...... setup.lid file...

Is ther anything you can do to help?

    Thanks again
