    wow, the insurance is impressive

dunked my phone and had to replace it. i called them yesterday and got the phone this morning. i'm speechless.

and the phone is slightly different. smaller antenna, and it feels slightly more rounded and maybe lighter. maybe i's all the dish water in my old phone

Great news about the insurance. It makes me glad I'm paying for it if I ever need it.

Dishwater? I'm not sure I believe that was where you dunked it!

Don't forget that most often the insurance replacements will be refurbs. Even if they are not I would expect them to have a pretty good sized stock so it may take some time to clear the pipeline.

Pretty much their (Lockline anyway) deal is that they overnight you a replacement that you get *within* 3 days. My guess is that they perfer there own warehouse but have many alternatives to draw from in case they are out of stock.

My replacement has the original (nee smaller) antenna, I was just surprised that he started with a bigger antenna and already needed a replacement. But I guess that all just "water" under the bridge now.

if you sink the phone, maybe it will find mine in the east river (NYC) and they will have baby 7135s. LOL

From what I have seen in the last few weeks, Asurion replaces with a NEW phone. If you are having warranty work done via Kyocera, chances are you will get a referb.
