    send & receive SMS - kyocera 7135

    hi,

i'm developing an application on Kyocera 7135 SmartPhone(CDMA) running on Palm OS 4.1 using CodeWarrior 8.0.
I need to send & receive SMS from my application but unable to do so. I've gone through the Kyocera 7135 API Manual but could not find any solution.

The telephony API function TelIsSmsServiceAvailable returns me an error indicating the non-availability of the SMS service.

Is it really possible to send and receive SMS using my application???
    If so how???

    Thanks in advance,
    Sushil.

easy to send and receive sms. go to messages folder,in bottom right corner box called new hit new.tap to enter recipient and enter phone number with area code. enter message you r limited to 160 characters spaces count. hit send.u will see message if you hit it it will tell time it was sent. receiving is even easier when u get message notification hit go to and there it is.if u put your phone number here ill send u an sms

AVY, I think he means programmatically how do you send SMS, not how to send one from the palm interface
