using the 7135 as a modem with a Mac G4

I've been trying for some time now to connect my 7135 to my Mac G4 with no luck. Can anyone tell me how or where I can find info on connecting my 7135 to my Mac and using it as a modem. Thanks.

When you connect the USB to the mac, and have the fax/modem application set on the palm for data, open the petwork system preferences, and the mac should recognise the 7135 and install drivers (I think you should have the 7135 install disc in the mac that you used for palm desktop)

Then you will have a network device called either qualcomm CDMA technologies MSM or Kyocera USB modem or something like that.

You set up the modem to dial #777 with your EN user name and PW ("yourphone@vzw3g.com" and pw = "vzw"or the "qnc" = user name and "qnc" = password for the slower free quick2net connection

The last paragraph tells you two ways to connect to the internet - from within the network settings. The EN = Express Network requires you to sign up with verizon first, the second way using user name and password of "qnc" while dialing #777 is free but slower.

A quick search of this board should turn up Paul Jay Lucas' website with complete instructions on using the Kyocera 7135 as a modem with Mac OS X (http://homepage.mac.com/pauljlucas/p...zon.html#modem)
