    Syncing with Outlook

All I want to do is sync with Outlook on my laptop.

I find the native Palm Mail program, uh, lacking.

The Eudora mail program doesn't seem to be designed to do this, but I'm not sure as I find their tech support to be, uh, lacking as well.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

The Eudora program should let you sync with your inbox, have you intalled the Outlook conduit?

Many of us use Snappermail because of the other features. There are programs that let you sync additional folders, but that has never been a feature I wanted, so you will have to search the boards a bit.
    My sordid past:

Kyocera 6035, Kyocera 7135, Samsung i700, iPAQ 6315, iPAQ hx4705, Motorola a630, BB 7100t, iPAQ rx3115, JAM 850, BB 8700g, Samsung i320 (just for fun), imate KJAM, TMO SDA, MDA, TMO Wing

According to the Snappermail site you can't sync with your desktop mail application, although it's a feature they say they'll be adding in the future and I didn't think Eudora would either, but I'm not sure. Iambic mail will do the trick as long as you only want to sync with your Inbox and no other folders.

I'm looking for a program that will sync only the folder I want because I get far too many emails in my Inbox to have them end up on my Palm also when I only want some there for reference.

Yes, but it doesn't seem to let me create and send email from my 7135, only download emails to read. Any ideas?

Oh, and we don't have pop3 access to the server if that is relevant.

    rfreschner,
Correct about Snapper, sorry I wasn't more clear about that. Eudora should work though.

    mk3013,
Someone may correct me on this, but here is what I think you are running into.

Eudora should let you sync your inbox, but to send and receive you must enter info for smtp and pop3. I happen to use an Earthlink account for this since I pay for it anyway. But some use the services available from Verizon. I believe it is airbridge. Try searchingn for that.

If you're trying to compose emails on the 7135 and have them sent the next time you synch, you can do that and you don't need SMTP access. Perhaps you can do it with Eudora (don't know, never tried), but advertised as working with Iambic mail.
