    Unhappy Back up

In 'plain' english how do I back up my 7135 while on the road (without benefit of a laptop (hotsync). Today I had the displeasure of losing all my data when my battery failed (probably one of the recalled ones). When I inserted a spare, my phone came to life, but without my data--not a great day! Thanks

    Buy a secure digital card.

Buy/download a backup program such as BuckupBuddy or CardBackup.

Backup, either manually or by a schedule, depending on which options the program offers.

Make sure all files are selected (usually this happens by default).

Make sure the program is installed on the card, too, so you can run it to restore if needed.

P.S. Unless you don't have a choice, turn off the phone and pda before swapping batteries. Also be careful how you do it. Do not "bounce" the battery on the contacts in any way.
