    Backing up 7135

I know the majority of you suggest Buddy Backup. I just purchased a 512mb SD card. Im curious what program you guys use to back up your data and palm programs

Im really interseted in a program that will allow

    1) scheduled backups
2)backups to either my pc or sd card.

Any input will be greatly apprecitated.

Don't know whether that means you'd consider BackupBuddy or not. I use BackupBuddy for the PC and BackupBuddy VFS for the card. There is a Lite version that comes gratis with BackupBuddy, but it won't do the scheduled backup, so it would be best to get the BackupBuddy & BackupBuddy VFS bundle.

You could also do a search on the forum on backup and I'm sure you'll find many posts on this subject detailing the pros and cons of each package offered.

I can't comment on the backup to PC question, but I have been using CardBackup (www.jkware.com) for a month or so now. It does do scheduled backups. I had to "use" a backup just today for the first time after waking up to a 7135 with a dead battery. It seems to have restored everything without a hitch. And, for the record, I am not affiliated with the company and I did not receive anything for this recommendation!

and have it scheduled to backup to a card.

The only thing that BackupBuddy can't do (that I know of) is multiple schedules. I have CardBackup scheduled for four times a day and I keep each backup, so I can go back a few times.

But it lacks a PC backup of the card.

Yes, it would be nice to have that, just in case. I sync up to my PC at work and at home, so with the backup on the card I do have 3 at any one time. There's a good chance at least 2 of them will be the same though. I do copy the backup folder elsewhere on a semi-regular basis too for an archive.
