    MP3s have no sound

I'm having a problem playing mp3s with my 7135. I am able to download them onto my card, I am able to play them with the Kyocera player--with the time bar indicating that it is playing. However, there is no sound. This is true whether I use headphones or not. The demo song does work though and the mp3 ringtones play as well. Any suggestions?

PS do you need headphones to play the mp3s?

    Thanks,

    Y Sandman

No, you don't need headphones. Try soft resetting the 7135 with the button in the battery compartment.

    Also, get Bebopper - it's a much better MP3 player. http://www.belltools.com

Make sure that bit-rate on the MP3's are between 96-128. Anything higher than 128 will not work properly.

Do you have a card reader?

Do the songs play OK on your computer via the card reader?

Tried formating the SD card & re-copy the MP3's over again?

BTW - Bebopper is AWESOME! A must have for playing MP3's on your 7135! The included MP3 player is worthless.

Bebopper, Backupbuddy VFS & Snapcalc are MUST have apps for my 7135.

also, make sure that your phone isn't in silent mode by tapping the up scroll button on the side of the phone.
