    EIS Browser closing

I would like to know if there is a way to switch to another screen (such as a date book) during browsing online and returning back without the "exiting the application" being activated). Or if I could browse my cached pages off line after I disconnect.

    Thanks

PalmOS 5 and below are single threaded. You cannot switch between the apps the way you want. Try using the "History" function for cached pages.

    Browsing

Thanks for the answer. If I downloaded a different browser, it would't help, right? It has to do with the OS, right?

That's correct. True multitaksing is not supported in this version of the Palm OS, But, you could while using your browser cache the site (save the web page) then switch to your other app. and return to your browser and open the saved page. The phone will stay online while you are in your other app, and even if the connection goes dormant while you are in your other app it will reactivate when you reload the saved page.
Try Blazer or WebPro. Hope this helps.
