    Windows Media Player

Is there software for this phone or any Palm Pilot I guess that works like Windows Media Player. I need to be able to enter a URL to view some video.

    Thanks

I don't think so. I doubt the 33 MHz CPU in the 7135 is up to a task like that anyway.

    Cool

I use a combination of programs. One is free. The other is not.

The 7135 processor works just fine with video. The palm OS is obviously very efficient. Put your large video files on your SD card and all will be fine.

I use Stoik Video Converter to convert WMV files to AVI's. Then I use Kinoma to convert and play on the 7135. The sound is not perfect but tolerable.

    You will need:

    Stoik Video Converter Free
    Kinoma Producer $ ????
    Kinoma Player Free

A quick google search should get you to the websites to download the programs.

I need this to view live video..not something that I would have to convert. Ie, in windows media player, you can open a URL and type in a http:...I need a program that can show video from a URL.

    Video Streaming off the internet?

It can't be done with the 7135.

Playmaker is correct. Those programs will give you video options. But you must first capture the video, convert it, save to the SD card, then play it.

wonder why kinoma player 2.2 has a "Play URL - http://" option if you cant use it?

Says: " "generic_reference_movie" cannot be played. It may be an unsupported format, incompatible with this handheld, or invalid file"
