    Hot Sync Message/Problem

    Every other time I go to do a hot sync, I get the following message on my PDA:

    "This feature is not available when the port is in use."

    I have to do a reset in order to get the sync to go through. Any thoughs on how I can fix this challenge? Thanks!

    I often ran into that problem when I used the HotSync button on my sync cradle. The secret is not to use that button. All you have to do is go to the Palm Applications screen, select HotSync, and then click on the HotSync icon. Since I started doing it that way, I haven't had the problem.

    Known issue.

    Another way to fix it is to Load the "Fax Modem". As soon as it says "Ready", exit out of it. The button will work again.....

    YES!!!
    tlaudio IS CORRECT!!! there are a few more steps if that one does not work, but hey if in doubt call Kyocera tech support.
