    emailing docs, pdfs and spreadsheets

When I email spreadsheets, docs, and pdf's from my phone, I have trouble opening them on the computer I try to open them on. The docs are attached to the emails as different file extensions than .doc, .xls, & .pdf.

My computer often says, "unknown file type."

    What's the fix for this?

    Any info would be appreciated.

Perhaps Agendus is doing something weird to the attachments when it is sending them?? Have you tried sending them from a different program on your 7135 - like SnapperMail ?

I've never tried Snappermail. I paid more money than I wanted to for Agendus so I hope it works. The attachments I send are in pdb extensions. (Works great on the Palm, but receiving PC doesn't recognize it). Could it be that I just need to somehow convert them before or after emailing?

The .pdb extension is the problem. Your PC doesn't know what to do with them. Most likely if you double click on them on the PC, it will start up the Palm Desktop "Install Tool" and want to reinstall them back onto your handheld during a sync. You're going to have to contact Agendus support to find out how to Email the files in their native format.
