Cool New Use For Headphone Adapter

After reading several posts recommending this headphone adapter, I finally bought it:

(Though I did think paying more than $10 for shipping this tiny item was a little much).

Anyhow, it seems to work pretty well in the car. When I got to work, I used a double 3.5mm stereo plug to patch my phone into my computer's audio input, with the phone in its cradle. Since I wear headphones all day long, I was getting tired of taking off the headphones to answer the cell phone. Now, I can hear the phone ring though the headphones. When the voice says "incomming call, answer?" I say "yes", mute Windows Media Player and just start the conversation without ever taking my hands off the keyboard. Any my cell phone rining no longer bothers coworkers.

I hear many people say that their 7135's have this voice. I have never heard this voice on my phone, while using the headphones. The ringer, rings through my head phones, and I never hear the "incomming call, answer?" Is there something wrong with my phone?

In phone prefs => voice dialing, check voice answer to get it to ask you.
