    exporting kyocera ringer

well.. you may already know that VZW sent me a treo600 as a replacement for my deffective 7135 (keypad stopped working).

I m happy in a way, because the treo is an amazing phone, indeed (I thought I d never say that, but the keypad is SO great..).
But you all feel how sad I am to not have my 7135 buddy with me anymore i guess I gotta get over it soon or later (we all will).

NOW, that said, what would make me proud is having my new treo shout the Kyocera ring everytime I receive a call!

I ve tried beaming the kyo ring directly into my treo; it shows up in the treo memory (using Filez) but it s not showing up in my sound library. I also tried emailing it to myself: same result.

any idea how to make any old 7135 user turn head when they hear my treo ring?

I just found out that I need the kyocera ring in a .mid format.. anyone knows how/where to get it? (it exports from the 7135 as a pdb and is not compatible with the treo)
