    internet network preferences

I switched from a Palm Vx to a Kyocera 7135. I was able to connect to the internet out of the box, but after hotsyncing my network preferences were changed and could no longer connect to the internet. Some of the drop down menus were different (no "wireless modem"), so I couldn't change back. The Verizon tech did a hard reset which got the internet connection to work again, but after hotsyncing, the same problem. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Maybe you have your hotsync set to a default where the PC overwrites the handheld. You might check on the hotsync set up if you have it as synchronize or not.

not sure if that would do it but?

    go to "my computer"
    Click on "Hard Drive"
    Click on "Program Files'
    Click on "Palm"
    Click on "AD"
    Click on "Backup"
    Find and delete "Net_Prefs"

Then renter your connection settings on the device and hotsync.

That should solve the problem, it did for me.
