    kyocera 6035 review

hi all, i have the kyocera 6035 and here is my brief review:

ring tones - poor ringtone selection, and if you put some of your own you can barely hear them.
mobility - the device is a bit big (more than the treo), if u put it in a case its hard to put it in your pocket, i travel with it in my briefcase so i dont have any problem, you can attach it to your belt with a special clip.
stability - good stability, crashes are very rare (for me at least).
browsing - easy to browse from feature to feature, better than the treo i tried.

palm OS- ver 3.5.3, ver 4.0 is not recommended to burn.
screen - the screen has poor visability in certain places, u can see your face reflecting from the screen if u are in a place with bad lighting.
fragile - if not in a case the device is very fragile, the screen is wide open and can be scratched and hurt.
color - of course - grayscale.
6035 features - very poor features and apps for the 6035 in specific, not like the treo or the i330.
convinient - (hope i wrote it good) very convinient to work with the device, sits well in your palm.
battery - long working hours without recharging(didnt measure, but i had mine on for at least 5 days)

well...thats what i remember for now.
if someone has any question about the device, about programs or anything else, i`ll be happy to answer.

    forgot 1 thing

in general i love my qcp 6035, it serves me well, and hadnt fail me once (well maybe 1 time )

i think that the major faults for this device is the lack of color, lack of memory upgrade (only 8MB) and the lack of specific programs for the qcp which can take advantage of it being phone and palm.

How long have you had it?

How long have you been using it? Were you a prior Palm user?

    Ring tones

I have friend that has an older Kyocera Smartphone which uses the Palm OS (non color). It is probably the 6035. It has 9 ring tones. Is there a way to add new ones? If yes, how do you do it? And where do you get them?

    Thanks for any help!!
