    Radio Swap

I got a used 7135 from a user here, and it is physically in much better shape than mine-it has about a third of the minutes. It was also used with Verizon, but I cannot change the ESN. How difficult is it to swap the radio part of the phone? It'd be like getting a new phone for me, the screen, keys, graffiti pad all are in much better shape. I know this can be done, just curious how difficult it is.
    Thanks

Not difficult at all if you take the appropriate procautions, (like preventing static, etc). You just need a #6 Torx to unscrew it and all the boards are modular... search the forum, there is a series of photos of the disassemably if you want a preview.

I had to search for Torx, and found the following threads that deal with replacing the radio board:
    'Phone section dead & solution'
    'Possible solution to SRCP'
    'I just killed my child'

I loaned out my Torx, once I get it back, I'll give it a shot.

    Thanks!
