2. Are you locked into a mobile carrier (i.e. Verizon Wireless, Sprint PCS, etc.), or do you prefer a particular carrier? Do you know if one carrier has better coverage in places that you need to be? (PLEASE SEE THE CARRIER NOTE BELOW)
Verizon really has the best coverage for me.

21. needs:
Has to sync with outlook now and office 360 later for calendar and contacts. I have to be able to snooze a reminder for different amounts of times depending the situation (i700 was great, 6800 was tolerable, TP2 sucks (only 5 min snooze))
if verizon is your bag, you really have only two choices: Android or iOS.
With the latest iphone iOS version, its now getting able to multitask just as android has always been able to do.
I am an android user and have been on android since 2009. before that i was a hardcore windows mobile user from 2001 and prior to THAT i was with pal from around mid 90s.
If you want a simplistic interface, go with an apple iphone. if you want more customizations, go with android. there are a few different models VZW carries in the android world, wheres there is only one flavor of iphone.
the criteria that is used on this subforum is really pre-android and pre-apple. nearly both handsets will do everything these questions ask. "theres an app for that" is a cliche` now but its true. there is an app for everything out there. it just comes down to how you want the interface--simple (apple) or customization (android).
you mean the latest version? ive not really looked at it in depth but it sounds decent. it would not be my top pick however. i would get an iphone or android over the razor--because i know the iphone/android will have a huge support following (accessories, forum support form smart people, etc ). the razor is the new kid on the block and will see if it catches on for any longevity. just my opinion.
