    Dumps out going on SPrintPCS

Every time I goto the SprintPCS and dig down on the plans using the PDA. Or going to the page to change vision password. Same thing on h6315. Same thing going through bluetooth modem to ISP on the h6315 to laptop. One thing that is in common is they are all secure pages.

    Anyone know why?

Try using ThunderHawk.. It seems to handle https better than PIE.

I would agree with you if you were right, but the Palm OS is crap.

No I used an h6315 to go to www.sprintpcs.com

Also I effectively tried a different browser too by using my Laptop calling my ISP through the phone.

So when GPRS or CMDA (2 different phones [and different providers] connected to this web page (directly or as host to laptop) dumps out !!!

Laptop goes to page fine if on cable modem.

    You're not getting it guys.

I used XP SP2 desktop IE 6.0x and it kicked out too. But only when using the phone as a modem.

    H6315 PIE Kicked out.
    H6315 modem->bluetooth-> XP SP2 Laptop IE 6.0 Kicked out
    PPC6601 PIE Kicked out
Cable Modem->XP SP2 Laptop IE 6.0 Kicked out

I can get to sprintpcs.com on all of them but it's when I browse deeper. Like trying to change vision password it kicks out.

Why does the *modem* care what's on a particular page.
    I've eliminated PIE.

The H6315 worked fine as modem for the laptop I could browse for an hour but would kickout only on certain web pages.

Are you using T-mobile with your 6315. If so, and if you have any data plan other than the 20 or 30 unlimited internet, you are likely running up against the port blocking that Tmobile has been implementing. Ports used by secure pages are definitely being blocked by Tmobile unless you have one of the unlimited internet plans. Depending on which CDMA provider you are using and the plan you have with them, you may be up against the same thing.
Without knowing your provider and specific plan, this would be my best guess.

Now we are getting somewhere. That makes perfect sense.

I had the Unlimited $20.00 plan with T-Mobile
And the Vision Pro Plan (not the Data Plan) with Sprint.

Well that kinda stinks, that means I can't buy anything on my phone !!!

vision pro/data plan makes no difference to these phones. data is data. if you had NO plan and were being charged by the kb, you would still have the problem.

you can buy software on this phone. i have done it on the G...
