    Wired Headset Calling

I searched this forum but could not find any reference to this issue. I am unable to initiate a call or MS Voice Command using the button on the supplied headset (the one that came with the unit). While I know it is not possible to initiate a call with the bluetooth headset, I would think that this would be possible with a wired headset. It could be done with the Samsung headset and i700. Please let me know if this is a known issue.

This unit claims(at least as I read it) to allow you to initiate voice command frpm the head set.

Sorry don't have an answer for the wired one.

Still don;t believe this will work on a Pocket PC based phone or even Windows Mobile based smartphone.

Pretty much all of the BT headsets will allow initiation of call from more "phone" based OS's but apparenlty not with the Pocket PC based OS

On a regular BT cell phone, yes. On a PPCphone, no. The PPC requires the user to map a button to in initiate VC "listen" mode and the BT headset cannot map that button accordingly.
