A2DP Bluetooth Profile on the PPC660X

Hi, this is my first post. I am currently using a Treo 650 and am considering switching over to the 6600 when it is released.

My question is whether or not the 660X has the ability to utilize the A2DP profile so I can use a stereo headphone via bluetooth. Specifically, the model I wish to use is the Bluetake i-PHONO BT420 EX. I am hoping I would be able to listen to MP3's off the 6600 using these headphones. Has anyone tried doing this or know for a fact if it will work?

I am 99.5% sure that it will NOT work. I spoke to the company that makes that headset about this, and they indicated that Microsoft would have to fix the profile... which I don't think they have done. It's not just pdaPhones... no Windows Mobile devices will allow you to do Bluetooth stereo.... too bad.

    What about these HP headphones?

    They don't work as advertised?
Does anyone know if the PPC-6600/Siemens SX-66 support these headphones?

Anyone have any updates on this?

    Is the profile available yet?

This would make this the best device available out there.

I've ordered and tried the Bluetake i-PHONO BT420 EX headphones, and though they work as a headset for calls, they do NOT work as headphones. Even as a headset, they were kinda scratchy (w/ the OEM BT stack, anyway). Disappointing, so I guess I'll be returning it.

Does anyone know if this will ever be supported on this device? I am so close to returning this phone.
