    XV6600/I700 Comparison Photos?

Sorry if they are already out there, but I couldn't find them.

If they are, can someone please point me in the right direction.

If they're not, would someone with both devices mind taking some snapshots and posting?

    Thanks

Here are some quickies I took with my v600 camera (i700 on the left, PDA2k on the right.)

Note the thickness of the PDA2k is about 3/8" more than the i700, but the lack of an antenna makes for a better pocket fit and less poking in the side if on a belt clip.

    Thanks for the photos!!!

While shopping around for a case this weekend, I noticed the i700 was closest in size to the XV6600...so I've been looking for cases compatiable with the i700. No luck so far so I'm using my case/holster that came with the iPaq 5555....little bit of play but works well.

I was using the horizontal belt case that came with the iPAQ h6315 for a while. but recently received my EB Slipper for the XDA III.

    Thanks for the pics.

The i700 does win in the slim department, but the antenna nullifies that and more.

Plus, if you put on the extended battery (i700) as many do, the thickness is the same.

My pleasure! Sorry about the lack of quality... I didn't use my good digital camera. I figured these would give a good idea of the comparison.

Wow. I finally held one of these today...

I had a chance to compare it directly to my i700 and I must say the i700 is no competition. The XV6600 is even smaller than I though and looks more like a phone than the i700 ever did.

I'll have a chance to play more with it a little bit later.

Can't wait for the camera version.

Once I get the extended battery and a case I'll be good to go...

Is that antenna absolutely necessary? I was just curious but not interested in the phone as I already have a PPC6601

The antenna is not detachable on the i700. It unfortunately adds some extra size and also acts as a prod to poke you in the side (if wearing it on a belt) when putting on seat belts in a car.
