    Question Screen Lock issues?

Well, I have been having some issues with screen lock, and I am not sure what is causing them. Right now I am calling it system lock because that is what it does.

I *think* that what is happening is if I have an alert of some type, vmail, appointment, etc that if it can't express itself the device hangs. Phone calls coming in are not an issue.

If I use Voice Commander to set screen lock that seems to increase the system lock probability.

Other then that I really like the app.

    Anyone else have any problems?

When I get a phone call ScreenLock has no problem. The screen flashes and the phone rings (or Voice Command announces). I'm still trying a few appointment alarms to see how this will work.

If I get my alarms to work with or without ScreenLock I'll let you know.

I'm really struggling through my migration from Palm OS to PPC OS

    Re: Screen Lock issues?

Now that I got my alarms to work (very low volume, btw) I see that ScreenLock will not allow them to completely wake up the PPC. On the first reminder the screen flashes, but not long enough for you to read the popup. The alarm sound, or voice announcement if you have Voice Command, works okay.

I think both ScreenLock and Voice Command are quirky apps.

Again, I really hate how REALLY LOW the volume is on all notifications, Voice Command, ringtones, etc. These are designed to be heard in total isolation, not in noisy business or shopping environments.
