    Delete All Contacts on Phone

I some how created duplicate contacts on my phone and rather than manually delete 350 extra contacts, 100+ extra appointments, etc is there a way I can delete all my contacts and calander information and just do a new sync to replace it all?

    TIA

    1. You could hard reset the device.

    2. I think you can have active sync overwrite your handheld, but for the life of me, I can't remember how to do it, and I can't find it in the settings. Maybe someone out there can help?

Are the Contacts duped on the Desktop? If so, you can do the following:

    1) View your contacts in Phone List View (View / Current View / Phone List).

    2) Right Click the column headings and select Field Chooser. Another dialog box will pop up.

    3) Select "All Contact Fields" from the Field Chooser's selection drop-down, then find Created on the list and add it to the columns by drag/drop. Close the Field Chooser.

    4) Sort the List of contacts by Created. All the dupes will be created at the same date/time.

    5) Click the first dupe Contact, SHIFT-Click the last to select them.

    6) Delete. (Or, create a temporary Contact folder and move them there if you're not 100% comfortable with the Delete).
