    Text Messaged Notification

Is there a way to have the text message notification repeat every so often until it is responded to.

My network monitoring system sends text messages when something occurs on the network that needs my attention. If it is in the middle of the night, I need it to be able to wake me up.

    Thanks.

    Matt

Did you try Settings/Sounds & Notifications, Notifications Tab, Messaging:Text Message and check off the 'Repeat' option?

I don't see a "repeat" option. That would be perfect.

    I see
    Event
    Play Sound
    Display message on screen
    Flash light for
    Vibrate

Really? I have a checkbox that says 'repeat' right under the "Play Sound" option.

    Strange....

I don't think that I am blind. There is a space there, to the left of the play and stop buttons.

Me, too... very weird. Can anyone else chime in on whether this option is visible on their devices?

Whoa... I want that repeat option too! I have the Verizon 6600WOC and no option on mine either. Went to the Settings-About and I have Windows Mobile 2003 SE v4.21.1088 (Build 14132). Do you have a newer version?

Was that a typo? I'm build 14132. The only possible app that I installed that may have exposed that setting if it was originally hidden is PocketZenPhone?

Take a look at this page

    http://zendrui.free.fr/

    It shows the repeat.

Right, the option is in the app, but I (and I guess some others) also have that option on the default Notification Settings page, which you don't seem to have. Very odd.....

I guess I am stuck with buying an add on app to do what I need?

mwfielder, do you have, or did you ever have, the PocketZenPhone app installed?

If someone who doesn't have the option can grab a trial of PocketZenPhone and see if it adds the option, maybe you won't need it. Or try it yourself.

    I installed PocketZen

As long as I install the today, tools and tray then I can now see the repeat option.
