    Question Pause or Link Option

Does anyone know how to set a pause or a link in to a speed dial location, like to automatically enter a passcode after connecting. . . .the classic comma does not work. I've searched the manual and the unit to no avail. THX

I use p for a 2 sec pause, and I think w is for a hard pause (meaning you have to hit a button to make it go further).

    Any More Information????

On my Kyocera 7135 I could put in a pause, kit a key to continue to access my voice mail at work where I need to key in mailbox number and password. This would be a nice feature on the XV6600.

The "p" and "w" options are also not working properly. Anyone else have an idea. As much of my dialing is on the go, the ability to pre program is a must. . . Thanks

Are your tones on? Mine weren't, once I switched them on (choice of long, short, or none) I could program passwords and pauses...

    In Keypad:

Tap | Start > Phone > Tools > Options. Select respective tone length.

    Keypad

    Short Tones
    Long Tones
    Off
Select tone length from drop down box. Press OK in the upper right hand corner when complete.

Thanks for checking. Tones are on. This shouldn't be this difficult.. . .I beginning to think this little toy, errr tool, is going back to Verizon until they get it to work without the engineering degree, . . .Thanks all for trying.

The required button is the green phone button. It worked like a champ.

Why aren't these tips found in the phone's help section?
