    No audio notifications?

For the life of me, I cannot figure out why I do not get a tone/ring/sound when I have a missed call or when I have a voicemail. Never have. I've set the notification buttons in settings... nothing...

    Can anyone help me?

If you click on the Volume Icon on the Today screen...is the volume set up on both the PDA and the Phone sliders?

Also, do you hear screen taps, etc?
I can monitor my home and office CCTV surveillance systems through my PDA phone...can you?

I tried the Beta version of Phone Alarm (it seems to be a great ap) but for some reason it drained 45% of my 2200mAh battery in about 2 hours. After which my phone was hot to the touch.

No other programs other Phone Alarm running. As soon as I discovered the problem, I deleted the program and since then the phone has cooled and have had no further problems.

I'm guessing this is one of those Beta bugs that will hopefully be fixed by the release version.

By the way, my phone is the Verizon CDMA version.

Yes, all on. Can get system clicks, too.

Ok, have you played around with different ringer or notification tones?

I had a similar problem temporarily one day, which went away with a soft-reset...but it hasn't repeated so I was not able to find the cause. It affected only the Phone Ring volume, system click volume and notification volume.

I wish I could say the same. I've uninstalled it and installed it twice, yet the same problem remains - no repeating audible notifications. Only thing I can get it to do is vibrate...

Let's hope these (and other very serious bugs) are addressed soon.

Anyone have other suggestions? I do not know if I've missed a call or have a voicemail unless I notice the bubble and click on it., That shouldn't be. Also, the bubble is ever present when I use bluetooth, which is all the time. So it's useless as a notification...

I never notice the flashing light, I keep the phone in my purse or on my side so lights do me no good.

I'm supposed to be hearing a notification, right? Where is it is the question...

If you go into "Sounds & Notifications" under Notifications tab...

Select "Phone: Missed Call" , is there a tone selected? For Play Sound? or is it unchecked?

I've checked ring, I've tried different rings,. Even after a hard reset, trying again, nothing.

Have you installed any programs after the hard reset? If not, sounds
like a strange defect, It almost has to be software based...as the same speaker is used for the speaker-phone, ringing and screen taps...etc.

Any registry hacks that you have applied? Not sure if these would reset on a hard reset, but I am assuming even they would reset to factory defaults. Looks like you might have to trade it in under warranty...unless anyone else has an idea.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
