    Verizon XV-6600 Software (ROM) Version

What is the lastest ROM you have installed on your XV-6600?
Not looking for those with Sprint or Cingular devices!

ANy one heard any news on the VZ patch and when it might be released? Last I heard was "at least another 30 days". This was last Tuesday.

Any news on whether or not this is worth fooling with? Sorry, but I have some difficulty trusting them to get this right the first time.

What about roll-back possibilities in case the ROM updater hoses the handset?

    Thanks all,

No roll back--once you update, you update. Unless you can get a copy of the original flash--XDA developers may have a copy if you really want it.

IMO, you'd be OK with the 3500x patch. If you're using the device with a car via BlueTooth, it's worth a look as some people have found handsfree nirvana post-update.

Thanks all. I'll give it a whack today as I don't have any travel plans and it looks like that it might take a while to flash the ROM and then get it all back up to snuff.

    Thanks,
