    Cisco Unity Voicemails on xv6660

At work we have IP phones that integrate our voicemail and email. We have Cisco Unity messaging installed. Problem is that when our voicemails show up in our mailbox as attachments/.wav files we are not able to play them. Its a codec issue I think.

Anyone able to get the voicemails to play on the phone's media player?

Also interested in this topic - same issues/results here - just started looking at it yesterday - was going to try some other apps to open the .wav - but it is quite possibly a codec issue.

I believe the Cisco Unity Admin has a choice of codecs when they install the server. but I don't know if any of them work with windows mobile media player or any other player. their codecs may be proprietary.

Count me in as interested also. My VM system (not a Cisco) sends a .wav file, but it won't open. I figured it might have to do with the properties of the .wav file.

If/when we get EVDO, it would be nice to use the unlimited data connection to retrieve VM rather than making a call to my VM system.
