    PerSaveBackup

Could anyone explain to me how this built in program works? Does it continuously back up contacts, etc., to non-volatile storage?
    Thanks.

    It synchronizes on an event.

    An event could be
    contact added
    contact changed
    contact deleted
    restart
    network event

It can be somewhat annoying, even if you don't have that many contacts. I have almost 300 and it was driving me nuts. I turned that feature off!

I sync to two computers and run Sprite Backup about once a month. I also copy my SD card to my PC for extra backup.

    I have 400+ contacts.
I run Sprite Backup twice daily and I use wireless sync as well.
    I sync with permanent storage.

It's only "annoying" to those of you who have never lost data.
